Guy's and St Thomas' is among the UK's busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts. Our adult community services teams deliver care at the heart of the local communities we serve, working in partnership with GPs, local authorities and other healthcare and voluntary sector organisations. Main duties of the job

Support and develop Tender activity via the Atamis portal as directed by the Procurement Assistant Director, working with NHS LPP Members and internal Category Teams. Maintain overall understanding of NHS LPP Member spend using a variety of data sources including benchmarking and supplier management information, to establish a detailed knowledge of Member expenditure by Supplier & Commodity. Identify saving opportunities from spend and supplier management information and dialogue with NHS LPP Members as agreed with the Procurement Associate Director.

NHS LPP develops and manages collaborative procurement projects on behalf of its members including acute, community and mental health trusts, as well as CCGs. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Evaluate supplier applications to Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) via the Atamis e-tendering portal as regulated by procurement law. Ensure ongoing supplier compliance with DPS terms and liaise with NHS LPP members, providing regular up to date supplier lists and answering related queries. Support Tender and supplier contracting initiatives as directed by the Procurement Assistant Director such as the procurement of, or from Frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) Support the development and delivery of sourcing strategies for NHS LPP Member non-pay spend. Using specialist analytical techniques and software, support the delivery of year-on-year cash and cost avoidance savings. A working understanding of UK and EU Procurement Law will be required which will have been obtained by experience or equivalent training
