Job Description
Secret Gardens LLC is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Manager for our Landscape Design & Build Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate should possess adept negotiation skills, a comprehensive grasp of supply chain management, and the ability to foster and sustain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
• Performing Value Engineering and Cost control techniques on construction contracts
• Coordinating with contractors & handling correspondence relating to the tender and review process
• Attend Meetings with Designers, Contractors & Clients
• Detailed review and reporting on Contractor drawings to Designers and Clients
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor performance evaluations.
• Maintaining documentation for projects relating to tenders and drawings.
• Generate comprehensive reports and analyze data to track procurement metrics and identify areas for enhancement.
• Tender evaluation & assessment
• Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
• Interpreting and offering advice on contract
• Ensuring contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administered
• Consulting of contractor's payment recommendations
• Measuring & valuing variations
• Maintaining, Requesting and management of Contractor & Supplier pre-qualification documentation
• Collaborate closely with the quality control team to ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the company's stringent standards and specifications.
• Promptly address any quality-related issues as they arise.
• Some site visits may be necessary

Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in a Procurement Manager role, preferably within the landscaping or construction industry.
- Strong written reporting skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Understanding of Authority approvals and requirements
- Ability to work to deadlines & under pressure
- Previous Middle East experience is essential
- Candidates will need to be highly organized and have document control experience
- Driving License preferable
