Become part of the reinvention of the car.In the target department Procurement for Comfort, Safety, and Driver Assistance Components, you will contribute to securing high quality and cost effective components for Audi vehicles. The department is part of the global Procurement organization and ensures the strategic sourcing, commercial management, and supplier development of components that are essential for vehicle safety, comfort, and advanced driver assistance systems.Your future team works at the intersection of technology, supply chain management, and global supplier strategy. It collaborates closely with development, quality assurance, logistics, and various procurement divisions within the Volkswagen Group.
Job Purpose/Role
• You will complete the first project within your target field Procurement for Comfort, Safety, and Driver Assistance Components
• You will negotiate component prices, claim settlements, and identify synergy potentials with series suppliers
• You ensure stable series production supply and manage shortage related escalations
• You contribute to the development of global procurement strategies across product categories within the Volkswagen Group
• During the program, you will work independently on up to four additional projects in various divisions of the company, one of which will take place at a VW Group brand abroad
• In addition, you will complete short modules in different areas of the company (e.g. assembly)
• You will engage in various working groups within the Graduate Trainee Community
• After completing the program, you will assume your permanent position in your target field
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
• A university degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management) or a similar qualification
• Above-average academic performance
• Knowledge of procurement processes
• Analytical skills
• Minimum of three months of international experience during your academic studies through internships or an exchange semester
• Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
• Fluent English and German (up to level B2)
