We are seeking an exceptional Bespoke Procurement Specialist to lead high-impact energy procurement strategies for some of SE First's most significant clients. This is a senior, client-facing role for a commercially astute professional who thrives at the intersection of markets, strategy, and complex deal execution.

You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, designing and delivering tailored procurement solutions across flexible, consortium, and fixed gas and electricity contracts. Your ability to translate market intelligence into decisive action will directly influence client outcomes and unlock revenue.

Requirements

Operating at a strategic level, you will:

Own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle - from strategy scoping and market engagement through to negotiation and contract implementation

Lead complex commercial negotiations, securing bespoke flex supply agreements aligned to client risk appetite and objectives

Advise senior client stakeholders on market dynamics, procurement timing, and optimal contract structures

Translate market movements into action, providing clear forecasting, insights, and risk analysis that shape decision-making

Convert opportunity into revenue, leveraging deep client relationships to successfully place energy contracts

Operate as a market authority, maintaining a strong view on commodity trends, purchasing strategies, and supplier positioning

About You

You are a senior procurement professional within the energy sector with a track record of delivering complex, high-value deals and bring:

Deep expertise in energy procurement, particularly gas and electricity supply (flexible structures essential)

A strong command of commodity markets and the implications of different purchasing strategies

Advanced analytical capability, able to synthesise data into clear, actionable recommendations

Gravitas and credibility to engage and influence senior stakeholders

A highly commercial mindset, with the ability to balance risk, value, and opportunity

A disciplined, process-driven approach alongside the agility to navigate bespoke client needs

Benefits

Salary: Up to £61,000 dependant on experience

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
