We are looking for an experienced Procurement / Buyer to join a major industrial project in Bergen.
This is a position within a high-performing Supply Chain environment, where you will play a key role in the execution of procurement packages, supplier coordination, and commercial follow-up.
This role requires physical presence in Bergen .

We are looking for an experienced Procurement / Buyer to join a major industrial project in Bergen.
This is a position within a high-performing Supply Chain environment, where you will play a key role in the execution of procurement packages, supplier coordination, and commercial follow-up.
This role requires physical presence in Bergen .
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up of procurement packages
- Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong focus on cost reduction and value creation
- Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
- Prepare inquiry documentation for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
- Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
- Issue purchase orders
- Monitor and ensure delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality
- Manage variation handling
- Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
- Continuously work on improvements to reduce risks and costs, improve delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or similar)
- Minimum 3 years of experience within supply chain management in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English (oral and written)
- SAP experience is an advantage
- High level of data discipline
- Structured, efficient, and able to work according to established guidelines
- Commercially aware, flexible, and collaborative
