THE FOLLOWING VACANCY HAS BEEN ADVERTISED AS AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO WYP PROCUREMENT STAFF ONLY
Commercial Category Manager
One full-time permanent role
Salary: POB - £44,700.00 - £48,459.00 per annum
This opportunity is ringfenced to WYP Procurement through an Expression of Interest Commercial Category Manager to develop and manage contract strategies that support the aims of West Yorkshire Police.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrable experience of leading and managing contracts of sufficient complexity and value.
Sound knowledge of public sector procurement practice and legislation
Experience of developing and using KPIs to drive improved supplier performance
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
Ability to understand and manage contract/commercial risk
CIPS qualified or ability to work towards these qualifications
Ability and willingness to travel for business purposes throughout the Force area
Current full UK driving licence
The vacancy will close at 23:55 hours on the 31st March 2026.
