Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Term: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Salary starting from £30,311 depending on experience

Location: Springvale Facility, Belfast

About LPSD

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) has 12 Manufacturing Facilities and 5 Engineering Facilities globally. We deliver operational excellence in manufacturing large power systems and drivetrain components. The Springvale Facility in Belfast supplies Axles and Transmissions through the support of Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, EHS and Operations Teams who align to deliver superior safety, quality, velocity and cost to our business partners.

The Opportunity

In this position, you will play a key role in supporting our procurement and supply chain operations. You'll provide administrative and analytical support across purchasing, sourcing, cost and price analysis, and purchase order creation. You will work closely with Facility Procurement Professionals, delivering reliable support on day-to-day purchasing activities.

Supporting procurement processes for our Springvale site, you'll collaborate with project teams to track development progress and ensure the seamless onboarding of new suppliers and materials.

You will also take ownership of launching and managing purchase orders for pilots, production, and supplier tooling, ensuring accuracy, compliance with terms, and on-time completion.

What You Will Do
  • Provide support across purchasing, supply chain, and sourcing activities, including cost and price analysis and purchase order creation.
  • Deliver administrative purchasing support to Facility Procurement Professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with project teams to monitor project development and manage the onboarding of new suppliers and materials.
  • Support the launch and management of purchase orders for pilot builds, production activities, and supplier tooling, ensuring accuracy, correct commercial terms, and on-time completion.

Candidates will be skilled in the following:

Data-driven Decision Making and Analytical Thinking: Level Working Knowledge:
  • High levels of numeracy, and strong data analytical skills - including the ability to analyse and make recommendations based on facts.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Effective Communications: Level Working Knowledge:
  • Proficient in building collaborative and trusted partnerships to work across an internal organisation and external supplier network.

Top candidates will demonstrate:

Knowledge of a Specific Procurement System: Level Working Knowledge:
  • Competent in using ERP systems (SAP is preferred)

Procurement: Level Basic Understanding:
  • Understanding of, or experience in, core supply chain and procurement concepts.

Additional Info
  • The role is based at the Springvale facility 4 days per week.
  • This is a year long fixed term contract
