  • Inquiry & Evaluation
  • Purchase Agreement Follow-Up
  • Material Administration
  • Closing
  • Other relevant SCM and procurement activities

Furthermore, the job holder shall:
  • Contribute to a good working environment
  • Obtain, provide and share relevant external and internal information to colleagues and management
  • Proactively participate in and contribute to job training for oneself and others.
  • Provide continuous feedback to project and organization
  • Lead and contribute to improvement processes within SCM methods and systems
  • Influence the direction of the company within SCM by sharing ideas with others and seeking improvements
  • Where applicable, manage performance of and provide feedback to management on team members. Feedback shall be documented on a regular basis
  • Manage conflicts involving team members
  • Freedom to act within practices and procedures covered by functional precedents, policies and managerial direction.

The job holder may and should delegate authority to his/her subordinates. Responsibility, however, cannot be delegated. When authority is delegated, this must be clearly agreed upon with the person concerned.

Work experience requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of offshore engineering experience within the upstream oil and gas sector
  • Experienced in purchasing and managing the FPSO Equipment, Tagged & Bulk items.
  • Extensive and pr oven experience within different areas of procurement and SCM activities
  • Proven knowledge to guide and control the work of others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning skills and ability to understand and deliver in accordance with project schedule and requirements
  • A proactive mindset towards, at all-time relevant, methods, tools and procedures within procurement
  • Has experience enough to have discipline responsibility and conduct training within the discipline
  • Has delivered high quality results in projects over time
  • Good understanding of other functions and disciplines duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Diploma, Bachelors or Master Degree.
  • Lack of formal education can be compensated with relevant experience in Supply Chain.

  • Genuine interest and appreciation of people
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Able to travel overseas on short notice if required or perform overtime work as needed.
  • Abel to work on other ad-hoc assignments as given by supervisor/manager.
  • Willingness to work on site/at a yard, any special yard hours, 5.5 day work week, etc
