- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to support company goals.
- Lead and manage the procurement team across various business units, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and value creation.
- Manage supplier relationships to build strong partnerships and ensure quality and reliability of supply.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role leading teams
- Procurement experience within construction or real estate development, including sourcing construction materials and subcontractor services
- Hands-on experience with strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and procurement process improvement
- Experience using Odoo ERP or similar procurement systems
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory procurement frameworks
- Business fluent in Arabic and English
- Proven ability to partner with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and project/construction teams, and to present procurement strategies to senior leadership
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience managing logistics contracts within procurement
- Experience monitoring supplier performance and driving supplier relationship management initiatives
- Experience managing external stakeholder relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics/service providers
- Experience presenting procurement savings and risk updates to board-level stakeholders
