Role Information
As a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a vital role in keeping the flow of medicines and medical products running smoothly and compliantly within our homecare service.
From managing orders and monitoring stock, to supporting strategic procurement decisions, your work ensures continuity of care for thousands of patients.
You'll be at the heart of a dynamic supply chain-working with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Category Specialists to keep everything moving efficiently, accurately, and safely.
You'll take ownership of key supply chain tasks, including:
Reviewing MRP outputs to validate requirements and highlight exceptions
Processing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries
Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve supply issues
Supporting demand planning and forecasting aligned to patient needs
Resolving supplier invoice queries to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
Assisting Category Specialists with procurement strategy, supplier evaluations, and cost-saving initiatives
Maintaining accurate documentation aligned with GDP and MHRA standards
Keeping departmental SOPs up to date and compliant
What You Bring -
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Previous experience in procurement or supply chain (healthcare/pharma preferred)
Understanding of GDP/MHRA regulations or experience in a regulated environment
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 ideal)
Experience working with MRP systems
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and prioritisation
Strong communication skills for working cross-functionally
A commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety
