Make a difference as a ProcurementBuyer & Team Support

You'll play a key role in supporting our Procurement team, working withcolleagues across our Centres to understand their needs and ensure consistent,high-quality procurement support. You'll build and maintain strongrelationships with suppliers through clear, professional communication, actingas a reliable point of contact on pricing, orders and service delivery.

The role offers the opportunity to work independently, confidentlynegotiating with suppliers to challenge costs, improve service levels andsecure the best value for PGL Beyond. You'll also assist with the day-to-daymanagement of a range of procurement contracts, ensuring compliance andaccurate record keeping, while providing essential central administrative function that enables the team to operate efficiently and successfully.

Is this you?
  • Able to manage a varied workload and remain effective when working to deadlines
  • A confident and clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • IT-savvy, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and business IT systems
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to assist with a wide range of tasks within the role
  • Previous experience working in a Procurement environment or similar
  • Able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills and a confident approach when working with suppliers
  • Highly organised, with a thorough and methodical approach to work
  • Comfortable working independently and using initiative to get things done
  • Experience communicating externally with suppliers and wider business stakeholders
