The role

As Procurement Manager at Milence, you will own a diverse portfolio covering indirect and non-production categories, site-related security and site readiness services, and procurement tooling.

Reporting to the Procurement Lead you will combine category ownership, site-critical delivery enablement, and procurement systems governance, with close collaboration across Finance, Asset Management, R&D, Operations, Legal, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement professional who excels at optimizing processes, building supplier relationships, and driving cross-functional collaboration - with a keen interest in identifying, piloting, and embedding AI solutions to transform our procurement and supply chain landscape.

Your responsibilities will be

Category & supplier management

• You will own and develop supplier and category strategies at country and European level
• You will identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers supporting site construction and operations
• You will lead contract negotiations with local and international suppliers

Procurement tools & systems ownership

• You will act as business owner for procurement tools and platforms (e.g. Ivalua)
• You will manage vendors, roadmap alignment, and continuous improvement
• You will ensure adoption, data quality, integrations, and compliance
• You are responsible for project, compliance & cost management
• You will act as procurement project lead for site-related initiatives across Europe

Regulatory Compliance

• You will identify procurement risks and implement mitigation actions
• You will ensure compliance with policies, GDPR, and EU regulations
• You will apply a data-driven total cost of ownership approach

Cost management

• You will develop and manage procurement budgets across site development, readiness, and indirect spend categories.
• You will apply a total cost of ownership approach that balances cost, risk, service levels, and scalability.

Project Management

• You will collaborate with European engineering, legal, and operations teams to streamline procurement processes and support cross-functional project needs across multiple locations.
• You will identify and mitigate procurement risks - including supplier dependency, service continuity, contract coverage, and scalability - to ensure uninterrupted site build-out and operational readiness.
• You will support operations with procurement activities related to site maintenance and continuous improvement, while providing procurement input to supply chain as needed.
• Act as operational backup to supply chain, executing firsthand P2P activities (PO creation, follow-up, ERP coordination) to prevent disruptions to site delivery and operations.

Who are we looking for

• You have 3+ years of indirect and non-production procurement experience in a fast-paced hands-on environment
• You have a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience
• You are experienced in procurement process and tool ownership, with a proven track record of applying AI tools and solutions within a procurement or supply chain context
• You have strong experience with procurement platforms such as Ivalua
• You have working experience in international, regulated environments
• You are comfortable operating across strategy, execution, and systems, and enjoy working in a fast-growing, multi-stakeholder environment.
• You have strong communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English
• You have an ownership mindset with delivery focus
• You are a strategic and analytical thinker
