An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administration professional to join the Department of Finance and utilise and develop their skills and knowledge with a busy and forward focused Procurement team.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Procurement of Professional services, the post holder will provide clerical support to the procurement team in order to facilitate them in implementing and delivering an innovative and professional strategic procurement service.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate a keen sense of administrative acumen and evidence substantial experience of working in a professional business environment. The post holder will be instrumental in supporting the team to deliver against action plans and objectives outlined in the University's Vision Statement, Sustainability Strategy, Finance Strategy, Value for Money Strategy and Procurement Strategy.
The procurement department operates on a Procurement as a Service basis, which recognises that different approaches and levels of support are required for different areas of the University. Therefore, you will be required to work in partnership with all teams within the Department of Finance but with particular emphasis on Accounts Payable, Travel and Business Expenses, Finance and Business Change to provide the support required.
