About the Role

For our Global Procurement department, are we looking for a Senior Global Procurement Manager/Team Lead BIFG Medical (Compression Therapy, Therapeutic Area, Wound Care) to support our team as soon as possible. The position can be based in Hamburg or Gothenburg.

What you will do

• Lead a global team (BIFG Medical) with full accountability for developing global strategies and ensuring their successful implementation
• Actively support the business through value creation and innovation initiatives, with hands-on involvement in key supplier relationships
• Take end-to-end accountability for supply security, cost efficiency, and strategic supplier portfolio management to ensure sustained competitiveness within your area of responsibility
• Develop, anchor, and execute supply stream strategies, including identifying and driving key programs to achieve cost-saving targets and defining the optimal supplier base in line with market and business needs
• Manage and lead the supply base towards an optimal total cost approach and overall efficiency, enabling long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth
• Negotiate strategic agreements such as supply agreements, joint development agreements, and confidentiality agreements

Who you are

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as business, economics, or procurement
• At least 3+ years of experience in a procurement environment as well as leadership experience
• Solid procurement knowledge, including strategic category management, supplier selection and tender processes, and supplier performance management
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a complex, global matrix organization and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Self-starter with a proactive working style and strong communication skill
• Confident user of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, especially Excel, experience in SAP and Ariba are a plus
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
