Job Description
Responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of procurement transformation initiatives across Group Procurement, with a focus on improving process efficiency, strengthening controls, and enhancing overall service delivery. The role supports identification and implementation of process improvements, enables automation and digital initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams, and ensures successful rollout of projects from design through stabilization.
Ensures that all initiatives deliver the intended business impact in terms of efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder experience, while aligning with the overall procurement operating model and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
OPERATIONAL:
- Manage end-to-end execution of procurement transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Document and maintain current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") procurement processes, including process maps and SOPs
- Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, and design practical, scalable solutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure completeness and accuracy of inputs
- Analyze procurement data (spend, cycle times, SLA adherence, error rates) to generate insights and support decision-making
- Develop clear reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates
- Track project progress against timelines, milestones, and deliverables; identify risks and drive mitigation actions
- Support and manage implementation of new processes, systems, and tools, including UAT coordination
- Drive stabilization of newly implemented processes, ensuring smooth transition to business-as-usual operations
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Establish and monitor performance metrics and dashboards to track effectiveness of initiatives
- Collaborate with automation and digital teams to drive system enablement and process automation
- Provide structured and periodic updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and key outcomes
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including procurement teams, finance, and business units
- Follow up on inputs, clarifications, and approvals required for project execution
- Provide regular updates to reporting manager and relevant stakeholders
PRODUCT / PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
- Continuously stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and procurement trends, and proactively identify opportunities to adopt relevant innovations
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times
- Proactively identify process gaps and control weaknesses, and design sustainable, scalable solutions
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of experience in transformation, process improvement, consulting, or operations roles
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of business processes and process mapping
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
