NES Fircroft are looking to recruit for a Buyer to support in the purchase of electrical equipment.

Rate: € negotiable depending on experience

Mission Context:

The service will be held within the clients Global Procurement in the Electricity, Instrumentation, Control Systems category. This category of purchases covers the following areas:
•            Supply of equipment such as motors, industrial electrical installations (HV substations), electrical equipment (cable, transformers, switchboards, UPS) for renewable projects and installations (solar, energy storage, hydrogen, wind), Oil & Gas (refineries and oil platforms), and electric mobility.
•            Supply of integrated control and safety systems, field instruments, on-line analyzers, fixed detectors, advanced on-line process control programs and Industrial Telecoms.
•            All services and supplies associated with the maintenance of such equipment during its lifecycle by original equipment manufacturers.
This category supports our clients energy transition to become a Multi-Energies Company, and as such works in conjunction with technical specialists for the benefit of all the Company's business branches.

Objective:

To help define and implement procurement strategies for electrical equipment for the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors.

Main duties:

 In order to support the achievement of the objective in terms of quality, safety, environment, reliability and deadlines with a view to optimizing costs and seeking performance, the tasks to be carried out will be the following:
•            Preparation for Procurement Management:
>Define and implement procurement strategies, carrying out an in-depth analysis of the markets concerned and the needs of the Company according to the branches.
>Perform market analysis to identify key players in each sector, monitor their evolution and performance, identify market >risks and develop pricing structure models and benchmarks by business sector.
>Prepare the supplier panel, organize and monitor qualifications.
>Prepare the purchasing strategy by developing contract templates adapted to the strategies chosen.
•            Purchasing management:
>Conduct all stages of the purchasing process in compliance with the client's internal rules and procedures, in particular the code of ethics and the code of conduct:
>Lead the drafting of pre-consultation and tender files for central needs
>Conduct direct commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers in compliance with procedures and operating rules in conjunction with the Purchasing legal teams,
>Manage the portfolio of central contracts, ensuring in particular that deadlines are met and activity is monitored
•            Monitoring and improvement of purchasing performance:
>Monitor the activity and performance indicators of suppliers in conjunction with prescribers
>Ensure the proper implementation of framework contracts, and support the Company's subsidiaries in the local implementation of these framework contracts
>Prepare supplier performance reviews
>Propose improvement, optimization and/or transformation plans in collaboration with prescribers in order to improve overall performance.
