We’re in the need of a new Buyer to support our Major projects team. The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Prepare RFQs and/or RFPs to meet Project Procurement Schedules, while complying with Supply Management Policies and Procedures (“SM P&Ps”)
• Communicate with Project Team personnel  during preparation of requisitions for the procurement of materials and equipment
• Negotiate commercial items, including Agreement terms and conditions with guidance from Supply Management Lead and Legal personnel
• Provide post-award administration support for active Agreements
• Maintain and updates internal SM tracking logs for Agreements under administration (i.e. Milestones, Change Order, Invoice log, etc.)
• Assist Expeditors with monitoring materials and equipment schedules to support on-time deliveries
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (in particular, Word and Excel)
• Experience with ERP computer systems such for contract management (Maximo, Ivalua, etc.)
• Minimum of 15 years of project related procurement experience. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Position is Calgary based – Mon~Friday  - 40 hours a week.
