About the Role
NES Fircroft have been engaged by Woodside Energy to source a Delivery Lead with a technology background.  The job requires an experienced Delivery Lead to directly report to the Digital Field Services Delivery Manager on a 12-month contract. Based in Perth, this job role is responsible and accountable for resourcing and delivering Critical and Operational Communications infrastructure programs across Woodside's operating assets.
 
Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the performance and management of contractors and service providers.
• Provide technical direction to stakeholders on the delivery portfolio's management and operation
• Foster and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers, Strategy Technology Managers, and IT leads.
• Build and organize workforces to ensure compliance with Woodside standards, work processes, and specifications.
• Safeguard production environments through adherence to IT Change Control and Engineering Management of Change processes.

 
Skills & Experience Required

• Experience leading teams and interacting with senior business stakeholders.
• 10 years in the Engineering and Technology industry.
• 10 years in Operational Communications and IT services within the energy sector.
• Proven ability to lead teams and secure necessary specialist skills for project success.
• Expertise in building governance frameworks for service provider-led projects.
• Awareness of Process Safety Management and its application in leadership of project changes.
• Practical understanding of Safety Critical Elements in Major Accident Event bow ties.
• A deep understanding of how businesses learn and improve.
