Main Responsibilities
Operational Support
-
Provide daily technical assistance for E&I systems maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective measures.

Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, API, and other relevant international standards.
Maintenance & Reliability
-
Develop and improve maintenance strategies aligned with RCM principles.
-
Lead campaign planning, vendor coordination, and execution.
-
Monitor performance of ESPs, VSDs, DCS systems, and identify improvement actions.
Project & Modification Support
-
Contribute E&I expertise to brownfield projects and tie-ins.
-
Review engineering deliverables and support system commissioning (FAT, SAT, loop checks).
Asset Integrity & Compliance
-
Oversee electrical safety of HV/LV systems and hazardous area equipment.
-
Maintain inspection registers (ATEX/IECEx) and ensure compliance with audit and verification programs.
Engineering & Documentation
-
Approve vendor packages and technical documentation.
-
Participate in OEM selection and service provider evaluation.
HSE & Risk Management
-
Champion a proactive HSE culture.
-
Support MoC processes, technical risk reviews, and incident investigations.
Cost & Budget Management
-
Prepare and manage the E&I maintenance budget.

Identify cost savings while maintaining reliability and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
-
HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Automation.
-
Offshore survival and HV/LV switching certifications are preferred.
Experience:
-
10–15 years in E&I within offshore oil & gas, including minimum 5 years in brownfield environments (FPSO, jack-up, or TLP).

Strong knowledge of:
-
HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS, relays.
-
ESPs, VSDs (ABB, Siemens, Schneider).
-
DCS/PLC systems (Emerson, ABB, Rockwell), SCADA.
-
Ex equipment and hazardous area compliance.

Tools:

Familiar with SAP PM, CMMS, and digital maintenance tools.
