Fully remote- Responsibilities
- Perform hydrological analysisand hydrodynamic modeling along the pipeline route to assess flood inundation, depth, and velocity.
- Identify and evaluate risks of riverbank erosionand scour at pipeline crossings of rivers and swamps.
- Design drainage systemsand flood protection structures (e.g., revetments, diversion levees).
- Integrate hydrological hazard assessments into pipeline route optimization and design standards.
- Prepare technical reports on hydrological hazards and mitigation measures.
- Draw detailed construction drawings for Hydrological disasters design.
- Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or Water Resources Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with preference for international O&G project experience, especially in tropical rainforest hilly areas or similar environments like PNG and TOTAL project experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, MIKE, Delft3D).
- Strong skills in GIS for watershed delineation and spatial analysis.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools for engineering drawings.
- Familiar with Australia engineering standards.
- Language: Fluent in English (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
