A major offshore development project in the execution phase, involving subsea production systems, umbilicals, and risers. The position is based at a manufacturing facility in the UK, with regular visits to subcontractors and vendors.
Role Overview
The CPY Representative will act on behalf of the Company to supervise umbilical and subsea equipment manufacturing activities.
He/She ensures that all deliverables are produced on time, in compliance with contractual, HSE, and quality requirements, while maintaining strong coordination between the manufacturing plant, subcontractors, and the Company’s technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Supervise contractor and vendor activities for umbilical and SPS packages.
 - 
Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and maintain a visible Company presence on site.
 - 
Monitor and control manufacturing and testing activities (NDE/NDT, dimensional checks, cleanliness, etc.).
 - 
Verify and validate technical documentation, inspection reports, and manufacturing record books (MRBs).
 - 
Witness and sign off critical manufacturing and testing steps as per approved procedures.
 - 
Identify, report, and manage non-conformities and ensure timely closure of issues.
 - 
Coordinate with project HSE, quality, materials, and welding leads to ensure technical alignment.
 - 
Participate in audits, issue weekly reports covering progress, look-ahead, and HSE observations.
 - 
Ensure dispatch dossiers and final documentation are completed and approved before delivery.
 
Profile Required
- 
Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years in subsea or offshore project execution.
 - 
Proven experience in umbilical, ancillaries, or connector manufacturing.
 - 
Solid understanding of testing programs, manufacturing sequences, and quality management systems.
 - 
Degree or Master’s in Engineering (or equivalent technical background).
 - 
QC certifications (NDT, Welding, Inspection) are an advantage.
 - 
Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
 - 
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting abilities.
