We are working with a small Danish consulting company who are looking to support their clients with additional HSE resources, it will likely be working on Life sciences projects seconded into clients for specialist HSE scopes. They are looking for an Experienced HSE Consultant on a contract basis working in Copenhagen.
About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Consultant with extensive hands-on experience navigating Danish regulatory frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on improving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and guiding organisations through complex regulatory landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance oversight: Interpret, apply, and monitor adherence to Danish HSE legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
  
• Risk assessment and mitigation: Lead comprehensive risk analyses, workplace inspections, and hazard identification activities.
  
• HSE strategy development: Design and implement safety programs, policies, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  
• Training and coaching: Deliver engaging training sessions on safety procedures, emergency response, and regulatory updates.
  
• Incident investigation: Conduct root-cause analyses and develop corrective action plans.
  
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and authorities to maintain a strong safety culture.
  
• Documentation and reporting: Prepare compliance reports, audit findings, and HSE performance metrics.
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Danish HSE regulations
  
• Proven background in HSE consulting or advisory roles.
  
• Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies.
  
• Experience conducting audits and inspections.
