Job Description

The Marketplace Software Analyst & Project Lead designs and orchestrates the integration between the corporate ecosystem and new digital sales channels. They manage the entire project lifecycle to ensure scalable, efficient technical solutions that align with business requirements.

Qualifications

1.01 Act as a Technology Partner for the business, gathering and interpreting requirements for the launch of new digital channels.

1.02 Map business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE flows) to ensure seamless integration between internal systems (ERP, PIM, OMS, WMS) and external platforms.

1.03 Draft functional specifications and conduct technical and economic feasibility studies.

1.04 Define the project plan (timelines, costs, resources) in agreement with the coordinator and the technical department.

1.05 Coordinate external vendors and development teams, monitoring progress and ensuring deadlines are met.

1.06 Manage the selection of new market solutions or system integrators for expansion into new marketplaces.

1.07 Mitigate project risks and manage production releases, minimizing impact on daily operations.

1.08 Oversee integration architecture (APIs, file flows, Middleware).

1.09 Perform and coordinate debugging and technical fixes, providing Level 2 support to resolve critical issues within sales flows.

1.10Draft and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for software and developed integrations.

1.11 Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the released solution complies with business requirements.

1.12 Produce training materials (manuals, tutorials) and support end-users in adopting new digital tools.

1.13 Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for technological upgrades or process optimization.

1.14 Advocate for the adoption of innovative digital technologies to enhance process efficiency.

1.15 Adopt Sustainability-oriented behaviors (reducing digital waste, optimizing processes).

1.16 Commit to self-learning and continuous professional development to stay updated on E-commerce and system integration trends.

Additional Information

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science, Management Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

- At least 3-5 years of experience in Functional Analysis, IT Project Management, or Software Development, preferably within Retail, E-commerce, or Fashion/Luxury sectors.

- Excellent command of English (both technical and spoken).

- Excellent ability to draft functional specifications, flowcharts, and perform data analysis.

- Proven experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), Web Services, and file exchange protocols (XML, JSON, CSV, EDI).

- Proficient in SQL for data querying and analysis.

- Solid understanding of Marketplace logic (e.g., Amazon, Zalando) and integration/feed management platforms (e.g., Tradebyte, Highstreet).

- Basic knowledge of Python for scripting and debugging activities.

- Familiarity with Agile Project Management tools (Jira) and documentation platforms (Confluence).

- Strong listening and mediation skills to balance business needs with technical constraints.

- Proactive attitude toward resolving complex issues and managing unexpected challenges.

- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and organize workflows effectively.

- Ability to manage effective relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
