Role Purpose The Process Engineer supports the Process Leader during the Execution phases of Pre‑Commissioning and Commissioning.
The role ensures technical coordination, prepares operational procedures, and contributes to identifying and resolving process‑related issues throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities 1. HSE Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company HSE rules for all personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Promote and uphold safe systems of work and safe working conditions within the assigned scope.
• Demonstrate strong HSE commitment by participating in risk assessments, audits, and HSE meetings.

2. Technical Responsibilities

• Prepare operational mitigations such as warm‑up, monitoring, mitigation and remediation procedures for preservation, flushing, and pigging/cleaning activities.
• Assist the Process Lead in establishing Operational Test Procedures (OTP) for the HEFA project.
• Coordinate with Engineering teams and technical entities to provide answers to queries and ensure adequate technical support.
• Support commissioning and start‑up teams (Production, Maintenance, Inspection) as required.
• Provide technical input for the recruitment and training of future process engineers and operators.
• Set up and implement training and development plans for junior staff.

3. Interface Management

• Ensure interface requirements with OSBL flowlines are fully integrated into design and operating philosophy.
• Verify that interface aspects with other packages (e.g., PIP, compressors) are properly considered.

Project Context The role supports the transformation of a refinery into a zero‑hydrocarbon production site.
The project scope includes PYROLYSIS, BIOJET, and OSBL & Utility packages. The Process Engineer ensures technical alignment and maximizes operational synergies across all sub‑projects.

Assignment Details

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months, renewable
• Location: Grandpuits (France) – full‑time on site (no remote work)

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Familiarity with General Specifications of the industry.
• Degree in Petroleum, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas process/production (site or office).
• On‑site operations experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HDT & HDI processes, degumming, bleaching, LPG operations.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
