Team: Global Consultants Team

Why E&C Consultants?

We're proud to be a Great Place To Work® certified company, where satisfaction, growth, and flexibility are our way of working.

You can read more details here: Becoming an E&Cer, but here's what makes us stand out:

  • We put people first: employee fulfillment, pride and well-being are balanced and at the heart of everything we do
  • We grow together: as E&C expands, so do your opportunities to develop professionally
  • We work differently: our Teal management means no micromanagement - just empowerment and flat structure
  • We give you time to recharge: enjoy 46 days off per year, no matter where you live or work

Do you already feel like E&C is a place for you? Let's see if this particular role is also what you're good at. As a Cooridnating Consultant you will be trusted with:

  • Risk Strategy: advising clients on minimizing energy-buying risks, developing purchasing and renewable strategies, and negotiating contracts
  • Market Analysis: identifying trends, opportunities, and insights within the energy and risk management sectors
  • Sustainability and green energy buying: explore the best green energy solutions (solar, wind, cogeneration, etc.) and support clients in contracting them
  • Projects: assessing possibilities for renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and innovative energy sourcing projects

We feel that to be successful & satisfied in this role, it's good to bring a mix of curiosity, analytical thinking, and client focus. Ideally we look for:

  • Language: English and German on a business level, French would be a great addition
  • Mindset: confident communicator, organized, resilient, eager to learn, creative problem-solver
  • Energy enthusiasm: following energy market trends, and being curious about how regulations and innovation shape the energy transition
  • Analytical strength: ability to interpret data, run calculations, and draw insights during tendering processes
  • Experience in client facing roles: 1-2 years would be great, however if you have less or more, but still feel it's a fit, do not hesitate to apply
  • Education: bachelor's degree in Consulting, Business or Energy Management, or a related field is preferred. Yet again - if you have a different one but still feel the thrill, let this not stop you!
  • Knowledge: a basic understanding of energy markets or risk management is an asset - but we'll train you thoroughly
  • Languages: English and Dutch fluency required; German is a strong plus.
  • Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members (internationally).

If you are still here and reading, you must be really interested. Great, as E&C is the best place to be! Last but not least then, a sneak peek into our application process:

  • First call with HR or Team Leader - 1 hour
  • Assessment: online ability tests + personality questionnaire - 45min
  • Final round interview: Business case (can be prepared in advance) & discussion on the online assessment + meeting the team - 90min
