Key Purpose:

The System Integration Analyst and Technical Project Manager will work on and manage all activities and projects related to the integration between internal systems or with external systems and services. The role will follow a dev-ops approach and be responsible for the agile delivery of projects and day-to-day activities associated with keeping the lights on across all systems integrations.

The role will also assist the wider GIS leadership with the creation and development of our Systems Integration strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

The Systems Integration Lead and Project Manager will be responsible for leading all activities across application integration including:

  • Interacting with other functional domains across GIS to understand the technical requirements for integration activities.
  • Managing activity tasks to be carried out either by themselves, by our internal integration resources or by third-party resources.
  • Converting functional and technical requirements into working solutions through development and configuration.
  • Documenting technical solutions, process flows, data mapping and manipulation.

  • Following good engineering principles and maximising the reuse of integration to create a simple provider / consumer model to integration.
  • Ensures that all changes are well documented and unit tested.
  • Ensuring that all integration services are delivered in conformance with IT Governance proced

  • Give input and technical advice into our overall McBride integration strategy.
  • Following good engineering principles and maximising the reuse of integration to create a simple provider / consumer model to integration.
  • Following good project management principles to ensure we plan, resource and execute effectively in partnership with good communication to ensure all stakeholders have a clear view of progress on activities across the function.
  • Ensures that all changes are well documented and tested. Where potential downstream impacts are identified ensures that other functional GIS leads are part of the testing.
  • Ensuring that all integration services are delivered in conformance with IT Governance procedures

  • Integration activities are executed as per plan, meet business requirements and documented as per GIS policies and procedures.
  • Integration between systems follows our internal standards and strategy.

Relevant and Quantifiable Measures:

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of all integration activities across McBride

  • 20+ Enterprise Solutions
  • Geographies include: - UK, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Denmark and Asia
  • Complex hybrid landscape made up of on-prem, remote data centre, private, and public cloud solutions

Behavioural Competencies / Personal Characteristics:

  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team
  • Communication - communicates effectively across all functional areas within GIS
  • A customer focused approach, positive attitude in working with all business functions
  • Strong programme leadership and project management skills
  • Good documentation skills both visually (Flow charts and maps) and written (Descriptive functional text and tables)

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills ideally with a project management qualification (Prince2, PMP etc..)
  • Recent strong hands-on knowledge of SAP Integration Suite or similar with a recent portfolio of projects that have been directly worked on
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of other integration tools and integration methodologies.
  • Some knowledge of manufacturing system architecture and an understanding of the separation and segmentation of IT and OT technologies.
  • High level of knowledge in enterprise architecture specifically in the integration spaces
  • Global applications and business systems experience required
