Role Overview
The Master Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity and standardization across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function. Operating within a multinational, shared services environment, this role ensures the harmonization of master data across key platforms such as Oracle, APRO, ACIP, and Banking. By supporting seamless collaboration with our outsourcing partner (DXC) and enabling efficient, automated processes, the role underpins the operational effectiveness of the broader P2P landscape.
As part of the European P2P structure, the Master Data Senior Analyst serves as a key liaison between operational teams, system owners, and DXC, ensuring that master data is optimized to support integration, accurate processing, and end-to-end process automation across markets.
Reporting directly to the Head of P2P Europe, the role demands a blend of analytical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and strong stakeholder engagement to drive data-driven excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Master Data Operations & Quality
- Execute Master Data Changes: Process timely and accurate changes across Oracle, APRO, ACIP, and banking platforms, ensuring clear accountability and complete audit trails.
- Supplier Engagement: Communicate directly with suppliers to collect, validate, and maintain accurate master data records.
- Data Governance: Apply validation rules and quality controls to standardize processes across countries and legal entities.
Fraud Prevention & Compliance
- Fraud Detection: Perform rigorous checks on supplier legitimacy and banking details, flagging any anomalies or risks for further review.
- Internal Controls: Document and execute internal controls across the P2P process to ensure alignment with Mars guidelines.
Performance & Vendor Monitoring
- SLA Monitoring: Monitor and report on external partner performance, flagging compliance gaps and maintaining documentation for periodic contract reviews.
- Quality Reporting: Provide insights and reporting on data quality metrics to support end-to-end P2P process performance.
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
- Landscape Analysis: Analyze existing data environments to identify inefficiencies and lead harmonization efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to promote data standards and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance or data-centric role, ideally within a shared services or multinational environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP and financial systems-Oracle a plus-and familiarity with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
- Data Governance: Understanding of master data quality standards, validation rules, and the importance of audit trails.
- Risk & Compliance: Knowledge of fraud-prevention checks (e.g., banking validation) and internal control execution.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to monitor performance metrics and identify data discrepancies or inefficiencies.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for direct interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve data issues.
- Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications in data management or ERP platforms are an advantage
