WRc are looking for a Consultant Process Engineer to join the Integrated Systems and Environment (IS&E) directorate.

Key Responsibilities:
Business development -
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to identify and develop potential new business opportunities.
- Assist the IS&E directorate team in developing value propositions and technical solutions for future project opportunities.
- Apply your networking skills to build strong working relationship with team members and outside the IS&E to identify opportunities for IS&E and to provide support to other teams as necessary.
- Represent IS&E / WRc at internal and external events, such as water industry events and conferences to promote awareness and support business development.
- Network and liaise with academia and / or industry to support business development.
Delivery -
- Maintain awareness of emerging environmental challenges and the direction of travel of the regulatory agenda.
- Assist with the identification, development & refinement of technical solutions to resolve client's challenges and issues.
- Contribute to project delivery to achieve or exceed project budget, time and quality targets.
- Support other team members when they are under pressure to meet clients' expectations and deadlines.
Person Specification:
- An Undergraduate and / or postgraduate degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) in a relevant topic (e.g. Science, Engineering or Environmental based subject).
- Experience of delivering consultancy to a range of clients within their technical discipline, working directly for clients, building relationships and meeting their expectations with our deliverables
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce robust and comprehensive written deliverables on behalf of RSK/WRc.
- Excellent competence in the use of Excel and the ability to interrogate, analyse and present data within spreadsheets.
- Excellent competence in the use of PowerPoint and the ability to produce presentations using WRc templates and present these to clients, colleagues and senior management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling positive engagement with colleagues, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence
Salary and Benefits:
- Up to £45,000 depending on experience
