Job Title: Analytics Applications Specialist

Working Location: Qatar Onshore - Doha
Contract Type: 36-month contract role

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science or other relevant disciplines including Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics

Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years experience in a business-related function or discipline, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the Oil & Gas industry
- Knowledge in business-related functions/disciplines such as planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, claim management, risk management, change management, procurement, pre- and post-award contract management, actionable and informative reporting, support services, lessons learned, etc.
- Knowledge of international standards, best practices and methodologies related to business disciplines
- Subject Matter Expert level competence in the candidates specific business discipline
- Knowledge of relevant business processes and procedures
- Experience with risk assessment approaches in decision making
- Strong knowledge of relevant software and computer skills, e.g., dashboards, data analytics, SAP, etc.
- Experience supporting large scale integrated operating and executing organizations, such as Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

Technical and Business Skills
- 8 years experience as a Power BI Developer/Dashboard Designer or similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas construction industry
- PL-300 certification considered a strong plus
- Minimum of 3 years extensive experience developing custom Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with advanced proficiency in:
- Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Power Pages)
- Power Automate for process automation
- Strong technical understanding of solution management, environment governance, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- PL-400 certification considered a strong plus
- Thorough knowledge of Data and Analytics with solid experience in interactive dashboard and report development
- Strong IT and coordination skills
- Ability to enforce data security best practices
- Ability to monitor and optimize database performance
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong skills in Power BI, MS SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Power Platform including Power Apps
- Experience in Oracle Primavera P6

Proficiency in:
- Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
- Power Apps development, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages
- Power Automate for business process automation and cloud workflow creation
- Data modelling and data visualization concepts
- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query
- Low-code expressions, JSON handling, and custom API connector integration
- MS Office (especially Excel)
- ETL tools like SSIS or similar tools
- ASP.NET, SharePoint, HTML, CSS, etc.

Some experience in the following areas:
- Reports automation using SSRS, Power BI Report Builder or similar tools
- SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP BusinessObjects tools
- SAP Data Services and Web Intelligence
- 5 years in SQL for data manipulation and extraction
