Profile Must Have :
- Diploma and/or bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical) from a recognized institution / university.
- 10 years relevant work experience in Mechanical supervision activities particularly in the Oil and Gas industry (onshore/ offshore projects).

Main Accountabilities:
- Oversee timely and effective execution of mechanical installation / plant modification works as per the approved scope of works. Ensure the works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, relevant policies and procedures, method statements and project timelines.
- Plan and coordinate the activities and resources at the construction site to ensure effective coordination and supervision of construction/modification project works related to onshore and offshore structures, vessels, platforms, facilities and pipelines is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
- Interface and coordinate closely with the awarded contractors and subcontractors to monitor effective progress of mechanical installation/construction site activities. Allocate work to team; participate in safety talks prior to tasks in order to support successful completion of activities in accord with safety standards.
- Review list of mechanical/installation problems and problem areas affecting project schedule or path with Project in charge in order to take actions to resolve these problems.
- Prepare and review mechanical installation related documentation including method statements, work instructions, material approval requests, and risk mitigation procedures in particular prior to forwarding same for approval.
- Provide input into construction completion dossiers. Monitor quality and performance (QA/QC) of works carried out by contractors/subcontractors to validate adherence with defined quality guidelines as per Dolphin Energy standards.
- Participate in regular Site Progress Meetings with contractors to review progress and performance. Identify and highlights technical and constructability issues and raises them with Line Manager and contractors site supervisors and communicate to awarded contractor for necessary actions.
- Expedite resolution of contractors field technical queries and provide guidance after consulting with project in charge / Line Manager.
- Liaise with operations and maintenance planning regarding mechanical installation and modification works, including plant shutdowns as required to support uninterrupted operations.
- Follow up with Engineering and Business Support to expedite and ensure material procurements as per projects timeline.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by Line Manager.
- Participate in site meetings related to all aspects of mechanical engineering matters ensure the assigned discipline, interdisciplinary and operational input from Dolphin Energy is effectively communicated to contractors or consultants and reflected in specifications, data sheets and drawings and ascertain adherence with defined protocols across project design and execution phases.
- Responsible for ensuring contractor, vendor and subcontractors activities within area of responsibility are carried out in accordance with the contractual strategy. Participate in all project reviews including TBT, TRA, etc. to assure adherence to all defined standards while highlighting areas of non-conformances and advising on corrective actions.
- Report any important issues, such as deviations, delays to management to support implementation of corrective action.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
