Job Title: Area Inspector
Location: Saudi Arabia
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Area Inspector with extensive experience in refinery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting various areas within the refinery to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of refinery equipment and infrastructure to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Develop and implement inspection plans and schedules for assigned areas within the refinery.
- Identify and report on issues, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address inspection findings and ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all inspection activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance on inspection matters.
- Train and mentor junior staff on inspection techniques and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection within a refinery setting.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for refinery operations.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in relevant inspection standards (e.g., API, NACE) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with risk-based inspection (RBI) methodologies.
