POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Building Systems Energy Engineer/Analyst to support energy efficiency and green building projects. The individual will support and lead tasks in the following areas:
• Assist with energy audits to identify energy and cost savings measures, i.e. ASHRAE Level 1-3 energy audits
• Performing utility billing and interval data analysis, and energy benchmarking
• Conducting spreadsheet analysis and assessment of energy conservation measure (ECM) improvements
• Developing custom spreadsheet calculators and analysis tools
• Developing construction cost estimates for ECMs and determining economic paybacks.
• Commissioning and retro-commissioning of building energy systems
• LEED and green building consulting
• Communication of results from analysis verbally and customer facing written reports
• Effectively communicate with clients
• Supporting business develop activities
• Building/Developing an energy model for customer
• Energy Audits
This position will manage junior analysts and junior building engineers and will be in the Clifton Park, NY HQ 3 days a week.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Energy Policy, or other related discipline.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Building Energy Analysis Professional (BEAP) certifications are a plus.
