COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $80,800 - 121,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.
Technical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Solar PV design/construction packages including solar array layouts, electrical one-lines, collection systems, collection system studies, and equipment installation details for Utility Scale Solar PV systems (20-500MW+).
- Use AutoCAD, Excel spreadsheets, commercial and proprietary engineering software to design Solar PV systems
- Working knowledge of the NFPA NEC Code.
- Manage external subcontractors for other adjacent services
- Interact directly with clients for successful project execution.
- Support development of early-stage projects with conceptual designs and material take-offs (pre-LNTP)
- Potential site visits to gather notes and take pictures of existing conditions to aid in design and identify critical flaws
- Contribute to the continual development of internal solar engineering standards, toolsets, and work processes.
- Turning initial system conceptual ideas into fully developed optimized EPC designs.
Responsibilities
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Design knowledge in other renewable areas such as Energy Storage and high Voltage underground cable systems a plus
- Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, methods, and tools in support of delivery
- Responsibilities include supporting pre-sales processes and working with sales and account management professionals to win new business; implementing business; proposal review and refinement; recruiting and staff development
- Research and development in solar technology for new product development and stay current on new technological developments in the field. Generates new ideas, goes beyond the status quo; recognizes the need for new or modified approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is mandatory.
- Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, and construction practices
- The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Education or experience with power systems analysis and design
- 1+ yrs in the electrical engineering of electrical power/distribution systems, particularly renewable energy facilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including study report writing
- Strong operational, project management, consulting technology, and process skills; strong communication/presentation and negotiation skills at the executive
Desired Skills
- Experience with CYMCAP for cable ampacity analysis (desired).
- Experience with power systems modeling software such as SAM, PVSyst, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, PSLF, or similar software (desired)
- Experience with the performance of electrical system studies - load flow and reactive power, short circuit, cable ampacity analysis (desired)
