About the Job

As a Engineer/ Senior / Lead Piping Stress Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily in Piping Stress activities in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals. Proficiency in CAESAR/ AUTOPIPE software. Must be conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment. Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.

Duties and Responsibilities of Piping Stress Engineer:

Key Responsibilities:

Piping Stress Engineer who can work independently piping stress systems of refinery/ petrochemical/ fertilizer or LNG units.

• Good hands-on experience on CAESAR II software
• Familiarity with navigating on Smart plant review and Navisworks software
• Understanding of support philosophy and support standards.
• Perform Stress Analysis: Conduct detailed stress analysis of piping systems using industry-standard software tools.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with piping design engineers to resolve design and field engineering difficulties.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate stress-related problems.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed reports documenting stress analysis results and recommendations.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure project completion according to schedule and budget.
• Inspection and Testing: Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Cost Estimation: Estimate time and material costs on project work and prepare documentation for project bids.

About You

B.E/B.Tech Mechanical with 5-15 years piping stress experience in oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals.
