Objectives and Deliverables
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the Tendering Process & Negotiate Fabrication Contracts for Offshore Foundations/Structures:
- Prepare tender documentation.
- Administer and run the tender process.
- Qualify suppliers.
- Negotiate contractual terms, conditions, and agreement variations.
- Present outcomes to management.
- Deliverables: Memos/Presentations and finalized negotiated contracts (Agreements and Exhibits) for offshore wind foundation fabrication.
- Support the Procurement Strategy for Offshore Wind Foundations:
- Consolidate market intelligence for this procurement segment.
- Compile supplier intelligence for foundation manufacturers.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops (involving structural engineers, legal experts, and project engineers).
- Deliverables: Memos/Presentations.
- Assist with Renewables Projects for Contract Engineering in Pre-FID Phases:
- Provide expertise for contract engineering and coordination.
- Develop call-for-tender documents and templates.
- Deliverables: CFTs/Templates.
The tasks will be managed as a project with defined timelines, costs, quality objectives, and sustainability/HSE considerations in an international context.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) from an engineering or business school.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in EPC contract engineering and administration is required. Prior experience with offshore wind and renewable energy contracts is strongly preferred. Familiarity with various contract templates (NEC, BIMCO, FIDIC, etc.) is expected.
- Fluency in English (mandatory). French and Chinese are a plus.
