TOE SDC is part of the Global Operations Engineering team. The Service Delivery Centre (SDC) contributes to the growth of Vestas Service by directly involving itself with Service Business Units (SBUs) on CIR reviews, VGA (Vestas Global Adviser) updates, and field support. Being a part of a Global function, we aim to be the best and keep improving ourselves. We review CIRs (Blades & General) created by site engineers across the globe on Vestas CIR Portal and third-party drone portals. We maintain the VGA portal up-to-date by creating new troubleshoot guides and upgrading existing guides. VGA is a tool used across Vestas to troubleshoot turbine-related concerns. We are responsible for supporting SBUs to meet service targets by performing day-to-day technical tasks through a remote working structure.

Responsibilities
- Blades CIR (Component inspection Report) Review on Vestas CIR Portal and Third Party Drone Portals
- Review and Approve CIR as per Vestas std. guidelines and procedures
- Develop and maintain SWI, Work instructions, SOP, department specific documentation etc. as and when required
- Achieve monthly review target as per the stakeholder alignment
- Conduct weekly/monthly stakeholder calls to align on scope, trouble-shoot concern, knowledge transfer etc
- Handle field issues, CIM cases, sudden events related to turbine operation to improve turbine downtime and to ensure turbine structural integrity
- Support stakeholder with business case or feasibility study
- Active involvement in RCA along with other functions and specialist
- Field trial support for new solution development/deployment for blades
- Create database as needed to support digitization and data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical/Polymer/Aeronautical Engineering
- Experience of 8 - 14 years
- Site experience on blade repair, scheduled maintenance etc
- Knowledge of Power BI / Data analysis tool is beneficial
- PG Diploma in composites/polymer tech. is beneficial
- Know the full value chain and key processes of blade manufacturing
- Experience with glass and carbon fiber design, manufacturing, repair and construction
- Efficient technical skills with emphasis on diagnostics, troubleshooting, technical investigation and root cause analysis

- Capable of working in international team in flexible work hours
