RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and repair all plant instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Control and Electrical systems. (PLCs, transmitters, control wiring, MCCs, Soft Starters, VFD's etc..).
  • Troubleshoot and repair control/communication networks within plant (Ethernet I/P, Network Switches, Fiber Optics, Ethernet and Serial Radio networks)
  • Work Safely around instrumentation and electrical systems.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of basic plant and gas well operations
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Basic understanding of control valves, positioners, PLC's and VFD's is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of wired and wireless communications is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows based computers and related software including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of control valves, positioners and control loops
  • Knowledge of Ethernet Radio and Serial Radio networks.
  • Solid understanding of low and medium voltage electrical equipment such as switch gears, Variable Frequency Drives, lighting contractors, and 24 volt DCE control circuits
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary (not guaranteed).
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be enrolled in apprenticeship schooling and obtain first year Wyoming Electrical Apprentice license within 30 days of hiring date.
  • Must complete state required apprenticeship schooling and advance Wyoming Electrical Apprentice license yearly.
