About the role:
Join Kent as a Senior Construction Engineer and take the lead in shaping the success of our cutting-edge projects. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in developing and implementing Construction Work Packs and Construction Scopes of Work that drive efficiency and excellence. You'll design project-specific procedures rooted in Kent's Integrated Management System, ensuring seamless execution of both Brownfield and Greenfield scopes of work.
As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with the Engineering team and report directly to the Principal Project Engineer. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on high-profile projects, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
About You:
The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, with a strong background in multidiscipline site construction. Experience in Oil and Gas or Mining is a plus. You'll be proactive and intuitive, anticipating challenges and taking initiative to address them. Strong time management skills will allow you to meet strict deadlines while handling multiple tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and industry-specific software is essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative team player, you'll work closely with both colleagues and the construction team to ensure project success.

- Ensure all construction activities are compliant with Kent's policies, standards, and procedures.
- Optimise construction schedules by identifying tasks that can be grouped and executed in parallel to maximize efficiency.
- Support the planning and execution of construction-sequenced activities, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in the development of look-ahead programs to proactively manage project timelines.
- Review and ensure availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries, and tools.
- Present Work Packs to workers clearly, ensuring they fully understand the tasks and requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments and help prepare method statements for construction activities.
- Provide technical support, mentoring, and guidance to the team, ensuring high-quality work output.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental practices, promoting a zero-harm culture across the project.
