This Position reports to:
Operations Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

This role is contributing to the Robotics division in San Luis Potosi .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Facilitate HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented and report HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and takes appropriate actions.
• Facilitate, assist, and provide guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
• Provide feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
• Assist the line managers and supervisors in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements.
• Support and drive behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.
• Support and embed an exemplary health and safety culture with a strong focus on the environment across their respective organization.
• Ensure that the appropriate HSE-related equipment and tools are available and used effectively and contribute to and/or plans and execute HSE-related projects.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years experience in similar role with focus in automated assembly lines.
• Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Chemical or similar.
• Document Control Experience.
• HSE Legal Compliance including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NOM 035.
• Advanced English.
• Excel and SAP (Preferred).
