This position reports to

Region Division Head

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity and will offer technical advice and solutions on inquiries from custom-ers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB drives. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excelence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business area in Bogota, Colombia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries. • Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues. • Shares best practices and lessons learned. • Prepares and checks technical articles for publication. • Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineer-ing assignments. • Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects. • Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engi-neering guidelines. Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering.
• You have 5 years of experience in electrical, mechatronics, or electronics engineering.
• (OPTIONAL: working as an electrical engineer with electrical panels, testing, and related technologies)
• You are highly skilled in electrical panel design or testing and the engineering market.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Excel.
• You are passionate about offering solutions and have strong problem-solving skills.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
