Senior Project Controls Engineer (Risk Management)

Location: Doha, Qatar - Onshore/Offshore - mixed

Contract Duration: Until 30 November 2026

Are you an experienced Senior Project Controls Engineer with a passion for risk management and leadership? Join our dynamic team in Doha and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our onshore and offshore projects!

Key Responsibilities:

• ️ Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of risk management procedures and tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, ACUMEN, OPRA, SAFRAN, etc.).
• Develop and monitor risk management plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyses, providing actionable insights to project teams.
• Lead and mentor a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Utilize your comprehensive knowledge in risk management to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• ️ Manage documentation and reporting using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Engineering background, preferably with Risk Management Certification(s).
• Experience: Demonstrable 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a minimum of 10 years in Risk Management.
• ️ Skills:
• Good knowledge of Risk Management Procedures and tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, ACUMEN, OPRA, SAFRAN, etc.).
• Self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented focus while working autonomously.
• Willingness and capability to assume additional responsibilities, commitment to delivering to stringent deadlines, and putting in extra effort in times of high activity.
• Experience in personnel management, strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively and work with people at all levels in a multicultural organization.
• Well diversified with data management, processing, and analysis of bulk data.

• ️ Language: Fluent in written and spoken English with good competencies in business writing.
