SURF Offshore HSE Superintendent

Location: Doha, Qatar - Onshore/Offshore - mixed

Contract Duration: Until 30 November 2026

Are you an experienced SURF Offshore HSE Superintendent with a passion for safety and leadership? Join our dynamic team in Doha and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of our onshore and offshore projects!

Key Responsibilities:

• ️ Oversee and ensure the health, safety, and environmental compliance of onshore and offshore construction and commissioning activities.
• Implement and monitor compliance with applicable HSE standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to NOC Standards and International codes/standards related to onshore and offshore safety.
• Lead and mentor a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Utilize your comprehensive knowledge in HSE to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• ️ Manage documentation and reporting using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Degree or equivalent in engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar disciplines.
• HSE Trainings: NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of verifiable experience in similar activities at an equivalent position.
• Offshore Experience: Familiar with offshore construction/installation and commissioning activities.
• ️ Language: Fluent in English.
• ️ Practical Knowledge: HSE aspects of hot-works, pipelay, and complex/heavy lift.
• Certifications: OPITO H2S, T-BOSIET & AGT, OPITO OERTM & OERTL.

Computer Knowledge:

• Proficiency: Conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases).
