A strong collaborator, they will effectively communicate with multi-functional teams, handle quality issues, and support failure mode analysis. Familiarity with document control and configuration management is essential, as well as AutoCAD expertise for engineering drawings. Experience in managing vendor and contract manufacturing changes is also required.

- Lead product end-of-life, product change notifications, and second-source strategies.
- Review and approve new part requests while ensuring data integrity in the internal PLM system.
- Support failure mode analysis and address quality complaints by collaborating with component manufacturers to implement corrective actions.
- Assist product and project managers with last-time-buy and end-of-life decisions.
- Coordinate the complete verification process for components and products.
- Create and maintain documentation for component qualification and technology details.
- Implement internal workflows including BOM, production documents, and product version changes.
- Develop and maintain BOM Healthchecks, RoHS, REACH Reports, and Material Composition Declarations.
- Handle export classification and tagging at the component level.
- Ensure compliance with product regulatory requirements (CE, UL, safety, EMC) at the component level.
- Communicate effectively with various partners across manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Implement document control and configuration management practices to meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Oversee execution of engineering product changes at vendor and contract manufacturing sites, ensuring configuration alignment between systems.
- Expertise in AutoCAD for creating and managing engineering drawings.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- For this role, the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in component engineering, with expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Familiarity with component lifecycle management tools such as Silicon Expert and IHS is essential. Proficiency in SAP and experience working with database applications are also required to succeed in this position. Strong technical skills and knowledge are vital for managing various engineering and database systems effectively.
