EngineeringEmerson is seeking a dynamic ETO (Engineer-to-Order) and Sustaining Engineer to join our team in Cluj. The primary goal for this role is to develop and release ETO packages in alignment with established ETO guidelines, best engineering practices, and current procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and releasing engineering designs, including parts and drawings, utilizing electrical engineering software. You will play an active role in engineering change requests (CRs) and ongoing sustaining engineering projects within the Roxar - Flow Metering Business Line (FM BL). In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Creation and launch of ETO (Engineering to Order/Non-standard solutions) packages, for Roxar Flow Metering products, in close cooperation with the E&D, Trade Compliance, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, and Change Management departments.
- Review and approve/reject non-standard product applications (together with sales, product managers, marketing, operations departments, etc.).
- Design non-standard product solutions and prepare products, sourcing specifications, costs, prices, and production instructions.
- Coordinate and/or implement the creation of parts, engineering drawings, procedures, and documentation related to non-standard product offerings.
- Ensures quality of parts, assemblies, and documentation created
- Support the engineering change requests (CRs), sustaining engineering projects and, occasionally, with new product development (NPD) projects, run within the FM BL, by creating and implementing standard parts, engineering drawings, other engineering documentations and procedures and documentation related to standard product offerings.
- Assist in productization of portfolio, in close cooperation with Team Leader and Product Manager, by ensuring that new or existing Product matrices and list of components (BOM) are maintained and extended, as needed.
- Support product management with the product life cycle and obsolescence of parts used in the product.
- Initiate and progress Change Requests in coordination with E&D and Roxar Change Management
- Create required documentation for product hazardous area certification (ATEX, IECEX, etc.)

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Engineering degree in electrical/electronic.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable role
- Fluent in English Language - Written and Spoken
- Good PC skills and good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel outside of Romania for training purposes in Norway if needed
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience with Autocad and/or PLM (product life cycle management) systems
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
