Your role and responsibilities
Join ABB Drives Estonia as a Manufacturing Engineer and be part of a global leader in industrial technology! In this role, you will have a chance ensure the production process meets defined KPIs (OTD, quality, TPT, safety, and others), drive continuous improvement of production lines, lead key development projects, proactively generate value-adding opportunities, and promote effective cooperation across Production Engineering and other functional team. The work model for the role is: onsite #LIonsite • Maintain and improve production and quality documentation (checklists, quality control plans, flow charts, FMEA, etc.). • Design and update factory layouts, implementing changes after approval. • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and leading projects to enhance efficiency. • Drive 6S activities, optimize workflows, and collaborate with experts across teams and ABB locations. • Manage supplier quality issues, analyze feedback, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications for the role
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Manufacturing Processes, Automation, Electronics, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks, with a strong understanding of production processes and systems.
- Practical, hands-on approach, with experience in LEAN and Six Sigma (beneficial but not required).
- Fluent in English; Estonian, Russian, and Finnish are a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
