For several job openings we are searching for engineers who are willing to specialize working as a second engineer on the biggest self-propelled cutter suction dredgers.

Function description

As 2nd engineer you will be part of an experienced dredging team and will get the chance to learn and grow into this position. Do you have some experience onboard self-propelled CSD's, and are you willing to commit yourself for a longer rotation period? Then this is your opportunity to start at one of the biggest dredging companies in the world.

As Second Engineer you are, together with the other engine room crew, responsible for the maintenance of all technical equipment and engine on board of the dredger.

You will be part of the daily meetings and responsible for reporting and keeping the maintenance program up to date

Requirements

• Experience as engineer preferred working on self-propelled cutter dredgers/ CSD's
• Certificate of Competence officer in charge of an Engineering watch
• Seaman's book
• Valid STCW certificate, II/2-STCW
• Seafarers Medical certificate
• Fluently English both spoken as written
