On behalf of our client, a leading European EPC, I am currently recruiting for an Offshore Hook-Up Engineer on a contract basis. The role will be focussed on managing offshore works & ensuring technical specifications are met for the Installation of the Offshore Substation on a Major European Offshore Wind project.

Job Title: Offshore Hook-Up Engineer/Coordinator
Location: Western France (with potential travel to Italy, Netherlands, and Germany)
Start Date: March 2025
Duration: Initial 3 months with option for extension until Offshore Installation in Q1 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Coordination: Oversee and coordinate offshore tasks related to hook-up after topside installation.
• Technical Support: Provide support to the team focusing on 66kV cable connection.
• Material & Documentation: Ensure all required materials and documentation (drawings, installation procedures) are available and up to date.
• Technical Specifications: Write or modify technical specifications for offshore hook-up works.

Requirements:

• Experience with high/medium voltage cable works
• GWO Basic Safety Training
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• Fluent in English and French
