General Position Summary: Support development of energy conservation projects through on-site auditing, engineering analysis, understanding of energy/mechanical systems, and other design disciplines to produce coordinated drawings and specifications for pricing and construction. Assist preconstruction with updating estimating software and pricing database.Essential Job Functions:1. Support Lead Engineers on design and building energy modeling.2. Assist preconstruction in implementing estimating database pricing.3. Review drawings and submittals.4. Ensure design changes are documented and issued to project management.5. Assist regular on-site reviews and produce engineering construction reports.6. Assist Project Management during closeout of work (commissioning, as-built drawings).7. Support the energy services with design services and technical assistance.8. Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each employee's essential job functions.9. CAD experience - ability to plot drawings and make minor revisions to existing drawings.8. Computer skills - competent with spreadsheets and word processor programs.
