We are currently looking for a Senior Subsea - Electrical & Instrumentation - E&I Engineer to join our team in Stavanger or Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in subsea processing to contribute to various stages of project development, from tender preparation to final installation and testing.
You will develop new products and solutions through technology development, delivery projects, services, concept studies, FEED studies, and joint industry projects (JIP). In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure innovation and efficiency in our projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an exceptional individual willing to take on fresh challenges, utilize subsea technology and operational knowledge and experience within a variety of exciting initiatives and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical and instrumentation system designs for subsea equipment
- Create technical specifications for subsea control systems
- Design power distribution and communication networks
- Ensure system reliability and safety in extreme underwater environments
- Specify electrical cables, connectors, and umbilical's
- Select and configure subsea control modules (SCMs)
- Design, specify and support procurement of power management and distribution systems
- Develop, specify and support procurement of instrumentation for monitoring pressure, temperature, and flow
- Oversee subsea equipment installation
- Conduct pre-commissioning testing and verification
- Coordinate with offshore installation teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Perform diagnostic assessments of subsea electrical systems
- Develop maintenance strategies
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Implement repair and replacement procedures
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant subsea experience in subsea systems, with a strong electrical and instrumentation engineering knowledge
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCad or similar to create relevant sketches, drawings and documents
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage.
- Documentation Skills: Strong ability to write clear and concise technical documents and procedures.
- Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a project team, contributing to the success of subsea processing initiatives.
