• Oldham office base, field-based role working across Greater Manchester

The role

As a Gas Installation Engineer, you will be required to carry out gas boiler and heating upgrade installations on our properties as well as 3rd party properties. You will be troubleshooting and resolving any installation related issues working in a timely manner yo meet client expectations.

You will ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. You will be expected to always provide an excellent level of customer service maintaining a high level of professionalism.

The right fit

• You must be experienced in boiler swaps and full heating replacements.
• ACS qualifications to include CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1, & MET1 is required.
• Knowledge of Domestic Heating Systems. Social housing experience would be an advantage.
• You'll have a minimum 3 years' experience in boiler installations.
• An excellent level of customer service.
• Health and Safety Awareness - conversant with current gas regulations.
• Unvented HW qualification would be advantageous.
• Commercial experience desirable but not a requirement.
• Have a positive approach to customer care and be able to establish and maintain good customer / client / colleague relationships.
• Willingness to work flexibly (Annualised Hours) including out of normal hours.
• Experience of working to deadlines and agreed targets.
• Knowledge of PDA or other electronic devices for completing documentation.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A full UK driving license is essential.
